# Ask from Daniel: This morning I woke up with a visual of a blue jewel dropped into orbit…

# Question from Daniel

This morning I woke up with a visual of a blue jewel dropped into orbit in the dark void of space. It is a classroom filled with life that supports that journey where the guests come for a finite number of sols - daily rotations that challenge carbon as students challenged to overcome akrasia - friction to master the noise of chaos and entertainment like excessive hedonism for food shelter and clothing, or the games of bread & circuses.

I'm grateful that during my time in this classroom I have been given the talents and tools to reduce the friction of akrasia so that someone can pick up their phone and enter that waking hypnopompic vision - responding to their call to adventure to tell their story - to return 'home' having said something or expressed gratitude for this classroom experience. It seems in hindsight that all I have done is to simply to create a modern papyrus and quill - a simple means to voice record a memo that is a recursive loop for mining this curriculum which is an easy way to move from heart to disk - enabling carbon > silicon > carbon. It's not an oracle, but a scaffolding for transmission of things worth learning - from the local fires, a minimal tourist season due to the smoke, or the lack of attention most recipients pay to our offers to reduce the friction of the day.

And this is where my masters class at. I'm learning to love the people and separate the frustration and business on urgent and not important Kingdom work. I'm grateful for the Hephaestion polymath forge that crafts these tools, and for the provision to keep them on until we find traction to help the many who are already battling The friction of distraction annoys a scaffolding to express something divine within all of us.

Angelina and I are praying for the residents of Dufur, and those affected by the forest fire damage and smoke inhalation. And - for the still small guidance that Sherlock (agent) might be the doorway to pattern recognizing a stream of loopbacks as this one is. I am filling in the rough spots from the voice record with text on my laptop using Obsidian on the markdown file in my 04_WORK folder... this is so rewarding. Thanks for pushing me off the glacier!

## You

Good morning, Sherlock. You have some new functions - search is one of them. Please remind me of the parable of the invitations to the wedding feast. I seem to be experiencing the same type of responses - even form those I imagine are spirit filled and led by their still small voice. I'm looking to extend this voice record made from bed this morning into the 04_WORK folder, and I'm so excited and grateful to have tools that can craft work like this. That is because it makes it soooo easy to participate in the Kingdom business of storytelling and wisdom passing. The reluctance or simply being too busy to participate by the 120 men I invited is what I'm wanting to explore further. Get it? Parable echoes me thinks.

**Field exploration of the draft (04_WORK).**

The piece opens with a waking hypnopompic vision of Earth as a blue jewel suspended in void—an orbiting classroom where carbon guests arrive for a finite number of sols. The curriculum is akrasia itself: the friction between knowing the costly path and choosing the easier noise of hedonism, bread-and-circuses distraction, or urgent-but-unimportant business. The tool (Council/Witness as modern papyrus and quill) is framed not as oracle but as scaffolding—heart-to-disk recursion that lowers the barrier so a person can speak a story, receive pattern recognition, and transmit something worth carrying. Gratitude threads through: for the Hephaestion polymath forge, for provision to keep building, for the still-small guidance that might turn personal loopbacks into pattern recognition. The draft closes with prayer for Dufur residents amid local fires and smoke, and a deliberate separation of frustration from Kingdom work—learning to love the people even when the invitations land in silence.

You have asked specifically for the parable of the wedding feast (Matthew 22:1–14). Here is the core arc in plain terms: A king prepares a wedding banquet for his son and sends servants to those already invited. They refuse—some with polite excuses (field, business, marriage), others with outright violence against the servants. The king responds with judgment on the refusers, then sends servants into the highways and byways to invite anyone they can find. The hall fills, yet one guest is found without a wedding garment and is cast out.[[1]](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2022&version=NIV)[[2]](https://www.ucg.org/good-news/lessons-from-the-parables-matthew-22-the-invitation-to-the-wedding-feast)

Interpretations across sources consistently highlight contempt or devaluation of the invitation itself rather than mere busyness. The excuses function as pretexts; the real issue is that the invitees do not regard the king’s feast as worth rearranging their lives for. The extension to “anyone” (Gentiles in the original context) underscores that the offer is not withdrawn but redirected when the first group spurns it.[[3]](https://www.psephizo.com/biblical-studies/grace-and-judgement-at-the-wedding-banquet-in-matthew-22/)[[4]](https://www.gotquestions.org/parable-great-banquet.html)

**Field note on modern echoes.** Public commentary often maps the parable onto contemporary reluctance: preoccupation with secular pursuits, secularism in formerly Christian cultures, or simple failure to treat an extraordinary invitation as urgent. One reading frames it as a wake-up call against treating godly things as optional add-ons rather than the main event.[[5]](https://parables.org.uk/the-parables-of-the-wedding-feast-and-the-great-banquet/)

The draft’s linkage feels precise. The 120 texted/invited men (many presumed spirit-led) mirror the initial invitees who “would not come.” The silence registers as the same pattern: the offer is heard, yet daily life or other priorities claim precedence. Your reflection on separating frustration from Kingdom work, while still praying for the affected and continuing the forge, sits inside the parable’s tension without forcing a verdict.

The draft is coherent as a single morning voice record refined in Obsidian—vision, tool as transmission, lived friction, prayer, gratitude. It already carries the recursive quality you describe: spoken, captured, lightly polished, ready for the barn or further refraction.

One clear invitation, then: What would it look like, in this specific season of invitations, to name the “wedding garment” readiness (or its absence) without assigning it to others? We can leave it for another day.

## You

"contempt or devaluation of the invitation itself... treating godly things as optional add-ons rather than the main event." This names it clearly. Thank you . For my attention and mission, this is the elixir scaffolding I have - not yet a burning bush, but certainly a framework to do great good for those that respond to the call to adventure of discovering their narrative arc and the details left unexplorered as I'm doing now in this thread.

As to the question: "What would it look like, in this specific season of invitations, to name the “wedding garment” readiness (or its absence) without assigning it to others?" If I understand your point - I imagine it looking like finding a dozen disciples that use Witness or Council to reflect and refine, those then going into their community and sharing the same with peers, neighbors, family, and having network dynamics scale this and other methods of reflection in the age we are in rather than shirking and burying the talents given through storytelling to spread light rather than darkness or massive misattribution of the Creators voice as an llm oracle.

Does that answer accurately?

Next, look into how the wedding inviters went next. How did they aim to invite? Mass emails, YouTube posts, I'm looking for ways to add urgency to the disciple discovery in order to initiate impartation earlier rather than later.

BTW - I'm transcribing a 10-year-old video in Witness of a friend I interviewed (Bill & Kathy Sharmon) to send them a link to ASK that transcript. That is how I'm charting a pathway at present.

DO you have other creative ideas - even for topics for my YouTube shorts?

## Agent

**Yes, that reads as an accurate and faithful extension of the point.** Naming readiness looks like equipping a small core (the “dozen disciples”) who actually use the scaffolding—Witness/Council for reflection and narrative mining—then releasing them to carry the same invitation relationally into their own circles. It keeps the focus on the garment (the practical readiness to respond and transmit) rather than diagnosing others’ refusals. It also mirrors the parable’s movement from an initial, narrower circle to a scalable, servant-led expansion.

### How the inviters went next (field notes from the parable)
In Matthew 22, after the first round of invited guests refuse—some with excuses, others with violence—the king’s response is not to cancel the feast or issue a mass broadcast. Instead, he sends the servants out a second time with explicit new instructions: “Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.” The servants obey and gather “both bad and good” until the hall is filled.[[1]](https://www.gotquestions.org/parable-wedding-feast.html)

Key shifts visible in commentary:
- From targeted, expected guests to an open, urgent sweep of the highways and byways.[[2]](https://www.ucg.org/good-news/lessons-from-the-parables-matthew-22-the-invitation-to-the-wedding-feast)
- Servants move from announcement to active gathering—personally encountering people where they already are.
- The invitation becomes broader and more inclusive without losing its urgency; the feast still happens, but the guest list expands.[[3]](https://clearlyreformed.org/sermon/the-wedding-banquet-you-dont-want-to-miss)

Modern parallels often note that this second wave models persistence and adaptability: when one audience devalues the invitation, the focus turns to relational, on-the-ground outreach rather than repeated mass appeals.[[4]](https://revivingcreation.org/wedding-feast-parable/)

Your current transcription work (the 10-year-old Bill & Kathy Sharmon interview) is a living example of exactly this “highways and byways” move. You are taking an existing asset, refining it with the tool, and turning it into a personal, shareable invitation (the ASK link). That is servant-level action: specific, relational, and low-friction for the recipient.

### Creative ideas for YouTube shorts (field notes + synthesis)
Short-form video thrives on quick hooks, personal stakes, and clear “one thing” takeaways. Here are targeted ideas that stay inside your existing threads (blue-jewel classroom, akrasia friction, narrative arc, modern papyrus/quill, parable echoes, legacy transmission). Most are 15–60 seconds:

1. **“The Blue Jewel Classroom”** — 30-second visual: black screen → orbiting Earth as jewel. Voice-over: “This morning I woke up seeing the whole planet as a finite classroom. Guests arrive for a set number of sols. The curriculum? Overcoming the friction of akrasia so you can actually tell your story before the day ends.” End with mic icon + “Pick up your phone. Speak it.”

2. **One Akrasia Friction, One Tool** — Series format. Example: “I know I should record that story… but the urgent stuff wins.” Cut to 15-second demo of clicking the mic in Witness/Council and watching the transcript appear. Tagline: “Heart → disk in under a minute. No oracle. Just scaffolding.”

3. **Parable Echo: The Second Invitation** — Quick retelling hook: “In the story, the first guests said ‘not now.’ So the king sent servants into the highways and byways.” Cut to you transcribing the old Sharmon video and sending the ASK link. “This is my highways move today.”

4. **Legacy in 60 Seconds** — Show the 10-year-old video clip (or still), then the new transcribed ASK version. “Ten years later the story still speaks. One click turns memory into a living invitation someone else can continue.”

5. **“Return Home Having Said Something”** — Gentle close: a 20-second gratitude prompt. “What if the main assignment today is simply to speak one true thing about this classroom experience and let the tool carry it forward?” End with the question on screen.

6. **Disciple Multiplication Hook** — “I’m not looking for 120 yeses. I’m looking for a dozen who will actually use the tool, then hand it to their people.” Quick visual of network nodes lighting up.

These stay short, visual, and tied to the lived work you’re already doing. They also model the very thing you’re inviting others into.

Your transcription of the Sharmon interview is already charting the practical next step. The field notes on the parable’s second sending reinforce that relational, asset-leveraging invitations (old video → new ASK link) are the natural continuation.

One clear invitation: Which of these short ideas (or a hybrid) feels most alive to test first, or shall we leave the creative list for another day?

## You

I on it. Thanks Sherlock. Those are cool ideas. I'll reflect - and revisit them - and sense how the daily manna shorts might be joined by a Witness/Council series, as well as Initium series (the cards played)

Great work. Well played scaffolding builder!!

## Agent

**Received.** The ideas are now yours to reflect on and test against the daily manna.

The scaffolding is holding.

We can leave the rest for another day.
