keypoints:
- Syndication places the same true story in multiple locations by owner choice
- One event can appear on many screens without being recreated
- Small businesses benefit from multiple local sites that all point to one approved
  truth
- Manage one consistent story instead of letting each town invent its own version
- One barn with many doors keeps the house the same while increasing findability
summary: The transcript explains web syndication as intentionally placing the same
authentic story across multiple local sites rather than allowing unauthorized copies.
It uses the analogy of a single ball game broadcast to many screens and one barn
with many doors to show how a small business can maintain one consistent truth while
offering nearby entry points for different towns.

## You

FAQ #10 Answer

What is web syndication? Why would I want more than one site?

Syndication means the same true story can show up in more than one place, on purpose — not copied by strangers, but placed by you.

Think of a ball game. The play happens once, in one stadium. Many screens show it. Each screen is still a real place someone is sitting. The game does not have to be replayed from scratch for every living room.

A small business often has one good explanation, one standard of care, one owner. One lonely website is easy to miss. Several local sites — each looking like this town, each pointing back to the same approved truth — give people a nearby door. You still manage the story. You do not become a different company in every city.

You would want that if your work is local, your name should be findable where people live, and you refuse to let every town invent its own version of you. One barn. Many doors. Same house.
