title: COUNCIL - AGENT - FAQ - Whos it For
category: FAQ
predicted_narrative_arc: Boundary-setting
sentiment: Direct
emotions:
- precise
- selective
keypoints:
- Targets owner-run businesses under fifty employees where the owner is the business
- Knowledge stored in mouth, notebook or folder rather than clean manuals
- Rejects general internet chatbots and AI that invents answers when facts are absent
- Excludes medical, legal and financial authority roles
- Requires owner willingness to write and approve outgoing material
- Preserves existing customer trust when the owner is unavailable
summary: This FAQ defines the service as suited to small owner-operated enterprises
(often 1-2 people) whose knowledge lives in personal speech, notebooks or messy
files rather than polished software. It targets English-speaking craftspeople, teachers
and local services who repeat explanations weekly and want their own voice and standards
preserved when answering customers. It explicitly excludes general chatbots, AI
that replaces the owner, regulated medical/legal/financial advice, and anyone unwilling
  to write or approve content.

## You

FAQ #14 Answer

What kind of business is this for — and who is it not for?

It is for a small enterprise — often one or two people, usually under fifty — where the owner is the business. You already explain the same things every week. You have a standard. You care what is true. You are tired of repeating yourself, and you do not want a robot to invent a friendlier version of you.

It fits if your knowledge lives in your mouth, a notebook, a book, or a messy folder — not only in a clean software manual. Shops, practices, makers, local services, teachers, people with a real craft. English-speaking work we can stand behind. If you would rather a customer ask than hunt a maze of pages, you are in the right place.

It is not for:

• Someone who wants a general chatbot that guesses from the whole internet
• Someone who wants AI to replace the owner, or to sound sure when the barn is empty
• Someone who will not write anything down or approve what leaves the house
• A company that only wants a cheaper brochure, not a person worth asking
• Medical, legal, or financial authority — we are not your doctor, lawyer, or broker

If your customers already trust you, and you want that trust to survive a question when you are not in the room, this is for you. If you want a machine that never says “I don’t know,” this is not.
