## Public answer

**Question people actually type:**
What is syndication, and do I have to syndicate?

Syndication means your approved knowledge appears in more than one place, on purpose. It isn't copied by strangers. It's placed by you, through a network built for it.

Think of a ballgame. The play happens once, in one stadium, but many screens show it, and each screen is a real place where someone is watching. A small business often has one good explanation, one standard of care, and one owner. One website is easy to miss. Several related sites, each specific to a town or a topic and each pointing back to the same approved truth, give people a nearby door. You still own the story. You don't become a different company in every city.

Intelligent Netware has built syndicated website networks since 1997. Our long-standing observation is that a single site gets only a small share of its pages indexed, while clusters of geographic and topical sites around the same expertise get found far more often. One client, an aerial advertising company, saw its network rank on the first page in many of its target cities, which raised sales and cut its Google Ads spending.

Do you have to syndicate? No. Syndication is optional, and it applies only to public rooms.

- A public room can stand alone, with its own llms.txt and Markdown twins, or it can join a network.
- An invitation-only room is never syndicated. Nothing from it is indexed or placed anywhere else.
- Even in a network, only approved deposits travel. Drafts never do.

Choose syndication if being found in many places would grow your business, especially if your work is local or regional. Skip it if your room is for clients or members only, or if you'd rather keep your website as the single public face of your business.
